The snow has started melting. So I am making the most of it and saving as much of it as I can with my little red shovel. I am very proficient at shovelling now. But I have a lot of work to remove this wall of snow behind me.
You're very proficient at spelling big words too! (You certainly didn't learn that from your mother!) As your Uncle Dan says, "Never use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice." Will you save some snow in your freezer? Then maybe you could have a slushie in the summertime!
oh grandma is slipping. I,m not the first one to see a new post. It is great to be outside in the spring. The melting snow always uncovers a mess but it is worth it to get outside and have it warmer. Tell mommy that she needs to expect to do much more laundry in the early spring than anytime all year. I remember my mother being frusterated with my brothers getting commpletely soaked two or three times a day in the runoff that flowed through the barnyard. I remember you kids being drawn like magnets to the big puddle at the end of the street. If you slip and sit down in the winter you brush off snow, in the summer you brush off dust and in the early spring you change out of icy wet mucky dripping clothes.
