I Can Paint!

I painted two pictures today. The first one is a fish, I told Mom what it was called. It's a yellow and red fish. The second painting I did Mommy asked me if I would like to draw some flowers, so I did. Aren't my flowers pretty? When I draw with crayons or pencil crayons Mom watches me but today when I tried paints for some reason she sat right close by me, and helped me.
Can you believe I painted these all by myself without any help?

I can sure see a flower. I notice you painted it looking down from the top with the leaves behind. Good to paint what you see instead of what we are taught it is to look like.
Tell mommy Grandma noticed she is wearing a nice white sweater. very confident.
Fish are aways colourful so fun to paint.
What I remember is when you take all those nice colours and they mix at first they make more pretty colours but if you keep trying for nicer ones they just get worse. You have to quit mixing soon. I never stopped soon enough so didnt always like the finished painting.

Yes, you really can paint! I think you should do some more. Sometimes famous artists get paid more than your daddy could earn in year for paintings just like that!

Yay Abigail!! I love painting! and I love your painting!!

I can't believe how long her hair is getting - seemingly suddenly she is no longer in the baby phase, she is very much a little girl.
