Badja badja badja badja

On Sunday morning I woke up and climbed in to Mummy and Daddy's bed like I always do. I enjoy climbing all over them. The best part is lying on top of Mummy's head and then kicking Daddy with my feet.

I was really happy so I told Mummy and Daddy. All that came out when I spoke was " Ba-dja Ba-dja Ba-jda." It's so much fun to say these words, they really get the message across for me. Daddy looked at me and had a little laugh. I realised that I was on to something so I shared my thoughts for the rest of the day, except when I had a sleep. "Ba dja ba dja ba dja."

A lady at church thought it sounded like I was saying "Padjom padjom padjom." In Russian this sounds like "c'mon c'mon c'mon." So that created much hilarity. It was time for church to finish and play time to start!

I have impressed Mummy and Daddy all week with my talking. I have some other words, but ba-dja is still my favourite.

What's your favourite word?

I think my favorite word when I think of you is sweetie!
You will likely wake your mom and dad up or keep them awake for the rest of your life, and enjoy every mimute of it.
You will likely keep impressing them with your knowledge and wisdom just like your mom still does for me!

Do what ever it takes to keep their attention, a well placed kick or sitting on their face works well doesnt it. I love you lots and would love to roll around on the floor and play with you. Give your mom and dad a hug from me, but remember I slobber.
grrrr.

Hello sweety. I'm glad to see you are already the budding linguist. I am going to be very jealous of your fluent Russian. You just make sure Mummy and Daddy keep speaking English to you in their different flavours. I will be most intrigued to see which accent you come up with - half Aussie, half Canadian with a sprinkling of Russian thrown in? :-)
Love you!
P.S. keep an eye out for your cousins' blogs - we're working on it!

Oooo. Presents? Don't know what they are yet. (It was half a life time ago that I had any of those). So far we have only had one thing arrive in the letter box. It was a letter. No parcels yet.

abigail, presents are a very wonderful thing. They look wonderful, no one says your wrecking anything when you take the wrapping off, the wrapping usually sounds exciting when you scrunch it, and you are allowed to tear it or even try to eat it if you want. You are the center of attention when you unwrap something and then at the end; wow something even better shows up. Soon a day will come when you get presents, its called a birthday and your goning to love it and your mommy and daddy are going to take as many pictures as grandpa would have if he had been there and send them to me.
