I took PJ to kinder
This is the kinder I went to last year at Kangaroo Ground. Now that PJ has been born we took him to see Jo my teacher and my old kinder friends. They like babies!
Immumimation party
Mommy took me to a party that was just for 4 year olds. She told me there was going to be party bags and treats and games, but that everyone would get needles first. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go or not, I don't like needles, but I really wanted to go!
It was ok, I got two needles, but so did all the other kids. Then there was a colouring contest, and a clown who made balloon animals.

the secret park
We found a secret park! There is a park that grandma and grandpa took me to all the time that is not far from our house, but we found another one too in the other direction! Its a secret park because you can't see it from the top, you have to go down the steps.

Life as a BIG SISTER!
My baby brother PJ was born! Mommy had to go to the hospital, and then we went there to see baby PJ! I was so happy that he came out, but I was a little sad when we had to leave him (and Mommy) in the hospital for a couple more days. I wasn't prepared for that - I thought we were all going home together.
I really like holding my brother, and even help him have his bottle. But I decided that I don't like changing nappies afterall, they are actually pretty messy.
I like to show PJ things like how to draw pictures, and show him puppet shows. I want to teach him how to swim, but Mommy says that he doesn't have any bathers yet so I'll have to wait.

Pre-information
My daddy asked me if he could post a little letter on my blog, and I have given him permission.
We are having a baby very soon. Please read his letter:
Dear friends,
I know many of you are probably wondering if we have had our baby yet. Babies go well overdue in Melody's family, so we are not surprised he has not come yet. If you are on our facebook then you will get an announcement there first. This will be followed by an email announcement later the same day.
After our first experience of being parents we have some preferences for this time around.
1) We will happily receive visitors at the hospital. The hospital is Box Hill Hospital on Nelson Rd in Box Hill. Their visiting hours are 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Please wait for an announcement before arranging a visit. I would prefer it if you could SMS me a time when you would like to visit. Please then wait for confirmation that the time is ok, so we don't have too many visitors at once.
2) Once we get home, we would like to wait a little while before receiving any further visitors, to allow complete recovery time for Mum, baby and the rest of the family. I expect this to be approximately two weeks, but we shall see. After that, you could SMS again to find out if we are receiving visitors.
My number is 0422 181 421. Please include your name in the message so I know who sent it! Please do choose to send a text message instead of calling as it is far less obtrusive when people are likely to be very tired or asleep.

More Cousins!
This week we took a trip to Adelaide. I found out that Daddy has cousins too! And even Grandpa has cousins! (I though only kids had cousins, and that all cousins were little kids - but thats not true!)
