Buryatia

We took a really long trip on the train to Buryatia. We stayed there with another family. They have a girl who is also Abigail! We played together lots.

We played all sorts of games. I wanted to play hopscotch so we drew it outside.

I did get some home school done while we were there. But there were lots of children there from three families.

Sports day

Today was an ethnic sports day. There was a chum and a yurt there. After Dunya and her group danced I showed her how I can dance. She said I was good.

Then Daddy and I played some sports. He helped me throw the basketball.
 And the rugby ball.

I kicked the soccer ball.

And kicked a goal!

Daddy played the sports too, but Mummy took more photos of me. :)

My Classes (or My first certificate!)

[I couldn't be prouder as a Daddy today. Abigail brought home her first serious certificate for completing something in life. She has worked very hard in her preparation class for Russian school. At the start of the year Abigail went there in tears and struggled to keep up with the classes. The teachers are all impressed with her abilities and how well she now speaks Russian. We are confident that Abigail will be ready to start Russian First Class in September.]

I feel happy that I got my work back. And there was a nice party at the end. The older kids were dancing and I watched them. I enjoyed their dance and some of them sang songs. There was girls and boys dancing. I got my work back in a bag. A bag with grapes on it. Everyone else got their work back too. At the end Mummy looked at all of my work.

Daddy looked at my work too when I got home, I was dancing to the music in my head that came from the party.
I feel happy that I am finished, it's going to be very interesting at my next class. My friends in my class are Serafima, Kristina, Lidia, Arseny.

Children's centre (a different place altogether from Doshkolonok preparation class): we do drawing and singing. The girls names are Liza, Nadia, Polina and Uliana.
