More Cousins!

This week we took a trip to Adelaide. I found out that Daddy has cousins too! And even Grandpa has cousins! (I though only kids had cousins, and that all cousins were little kids - but thats not true!)

Here I am with my new found second cousins. They are Daddy's cousins kids. I like having extra cousins.

map of our yard

This is a map I made of our yard here at Kangaroo Ground. I made it out of playdough and Mommy took a picture. Then I helped her label it so that I could tell you about where I play every day.

Click on the picture if you need to see it bigger.

My photo album

Summer is here. Yesterday was hot, but I played outside in my shorts, while Mommy and Daddy did homework in the computer lab. I have lots of fun searching for and inspecting bugs. The man at church today said that God loves beetles a lot.

Today we went to Jasper and Aria's birthday party. They took us on a miniature train. I loved it!

Mommy and Daddy came with me too, we had lots of fun.

At kindergarten we have some chickens, they come out of eggs, I wonder if you knew that. Apparently in Canada, the little babies are called chicks, but in Australia we call them chickens because we call the big ones chooks. Daddy helped me pat the chicken.

A lady came to my kinder and took photos of my family, I hope you like this one.

We're going to have a baby brother in our family. I love him very much and often grab my Mommy's tummy and tell him "I love you baby!"

I know his name, and it's a secret, but maybe you can bribe me to tell you.

On our holiday

Mommy and Daddy don't have to go to linguistics school this week so we went on a holiday! Here I am playing golf with Mommy and Daddy, I can hit the balls into the holes.

Then we played big dominoes. I beat Daddy twice and he won once. On the way home I thought of an idea, we could make small dominoes and play it on the table at home!

Here I am riding my scooter that I got for my birthday. I can go fast!

My 4th Birthday

I am 4 years old now! I had a party with my friends, we played games and had party food and a cake and then there were presents!

This present was from Auntie Vangie. Thank-you!

Grandma and Grandpa sent me some seals for playing in the pool. Thank-you!

Mommy made me a turtle cake. Isn't it special?

Mommy and Daddy got me a scooter for my birthday. I really like riding it. My auntie Vangie sent me a jewelery box and it came with this princess sash.

Hello again, look at the Playschool concert

I am getting bigger all the time. I go to kindergarten twice a week now. I am talking so much that I now notice all the little children and babies who don't talk. Why don't they talk? It's so easy.
If I'm not at kindergarten, or Mummy and Daddy are not dragging me to the swimming pool then chances are I am outside playing. I can play out there all day if it is not raining. Really, a bit of rain doesn't stop me either. I love to play in the dirt, with sticks and leaves, and have even started climbing a little tree.
There are some little trikes to ride on, but they keep breaking. One day the wheel broke on one of them and I fell off on the concrete. It was awful. Daddy wasn't home, but Mummy was inside. I started screaming, there was blood everywhere. Mummy wasn't sure if my teeth or nose were broken. It turns out I just had a really fat lip. Daddy came home and then went to the shops to buy me more icy poles (they helped my lip from getting too big) and lollies and a toy and some medicine to make the swelling go down. They were really easy on me that night, but the next day when I tried to get away with things they started acting like parents again, oh well.

Here are some photos of what I have been up to in the last few weeks:

A little friend of mine, Brea got baptised. Afterwards there was a bouncy castle. You can see my lip was getting better.

Daddy took me to a concert. It happened to be on the one morning he does not have school. It was a Playschool concert. Playschool is my favourite tv show, it's Australian.

I couldn't believe it was all real. So I listened and watched a lot, but did not sing as much as I do at home.

The man and the lady did a good job. It was really fun.

Here is one of the songs.

Photo update

Playing on my drum, with Jesiah. He's my friend and neighbour and I like him a lot, which gets my Mum and Dad talking. I don't think Jesiah knows how much I like him. Boys are a bit clueless sometimes.

My kindergarten class. I'm right in the middle. It's so much fun, I really like story time.

I'm feeding a wallaby here. Mummy and Daddy had no classes this week, so we took a short holiday to Phillip Island.

This is a kangaroo. Can you tell the difference?

Helicopter!

And now for the real thing, well this is a boat not a helicopter.

Kindergarten

In Australia we say kindergarten when you are 3 and 4 years old. It just means children's garden anyway. I have started going to 3 year old kinder now. It is so much fun. I like it heaps more than play school, because we do lots and lots of fun activities. I really like the story time and singing songs. I am getting to know the other kids a little bit, but not too quickly.

These photos are from my first day at Kindergarten. I am more comfortable there now than I was on the first day. Now Mummy and Daddy leave me there. On Wednesday I will be there from 9am - 2pm.

Playschool!

Hello! It's been a long time since I put up any pictures. Sorry. I've been really busy at playschool. Mommy and Daddy are sorry too, they've been going to lingwisttits school. There are always at least 3 other children at playschool, and sometimes there are up to 7 of us. Here are some pictures of what we do at playschool.

Here is the little guy I made out of playdough.

Here we are playing in the sanbox. We only play outside in the mornings because after lunch it is so hot!! We stay inside when it is really hot, just like how in Russia we stay inside when it is really cold.

This is Jessiah and Addy. They are my friends, and so is their sister Gwynny.

This is Aunty Ruth. I like Aunty Ruth, she plays with us, and reads stories to us, and she even gives us snacks!
