The big ice slide
This Winter has been a lot of fun. I have been to the ice slides lots of times. It is my favourite thing to do. I always get excited when we go to the ice slides. I have learnt to slide all by myself. I am very good at going on the small slides now. I can even sit on my bum now. Yesterday I was very brave. I went down the big slide all by myself. The first time I went down straight, on my bum and it was lots of fun. The second time I was a bit too excited and I went down a but crooked. I bumped my head. I was very upset. After crying for a while I went back to the small slides. Daddy wants me to try the big slide again. He said something about a horse. There were no horses at the slides though.
I like macalmenis and Kraft dinner.
I'm Canadian and Australian. My parents tell me that the Kraft company was founded by an Australian and a Canadian together. Australians like Kraft Vegemite and Canadians like Kraft Dinner. I like Kraft Dinner. I also like macalmenis.
(Footnote from the editor- Macalmenis is an extremely rare hybrid linguistics phenomenon. It is invented by children who have parents that make sure they speak their native English first. When Russian plurals such as "pelmeni" (a meat dumpling) are used in English they become "pelmenis". "Macalmenis" is a hybrid word from "macaroni" and "pelmenis".
Second footnote- The original company was called the "Kraft Walker Cheese Company". For some reason Vegemite was never tested on the Canadian public.)

Ice slides
This Winter I have really enjoyed going on the ice slides close to our house. At first I was really scared. I haven't learnt to sit on the bum sled like other kids my age. When they go down, they have a smile on their face, but they are a bit serious about the whole event. I learnt that I can go down by myself on my tummy and it is lots of fun. Now other children are starting to copy me. Mommy and Daddy think this is really funny.
