Our trip to Tuva

We have been away from home for a long time. Now we are home I would like to show you some photos from our trip to Tuva. Tuva is a long way away, so we had to go on a bus that flies in the air. Bus! I like it!

When we got to the airport, which is like a bus stop, we had to wait all day long, cos the plane was very late. We ate in the cafe twice. I read my books, slept and then Mommy brought out the bubbles, left over from my birthday. I even learnt to blow some bubbles. The little boy is Tuvan. He won't cut his hair until he is 3 years old.

I think the little boy liked me, because he kept turning around to say hello on the plane.

After a little while I figured out that this was a bit like a holiday, so I ran around singing "Yay" to everyone and clapping my hands. I even learnt the Tuvan word for no, which is "Chok." Any time someone spoke Tuvan I would smile and say "Chok, Chok!" I can speak Russian much better than Tuvan.

We went camping by the lake and here is our family tent. I like the tent, it's fun sleeping there.

Two of the kids in this picture are from Aidys' family. The other two children are from Khakassia.

There were lots of cows in Tuva. I also like cows a lot, especially because my favourite Wiggles song is about cows. Moo, moo!

We went to two lakes while we were camping. The second lake had really nice grass. I enjoyed running around in the grass.

I liked the grass so much, that I decided to dance. It's more fun to watch me on the video though.

After staying at Aidys' house we went to stay with an American family. They have three kids. Kinsey really liked playing with me because she has two brothers and no sisters, so she liked having another girl to play with.

Kinsey, Caiden and Cole have their whole back yard as a sand box. I loved playing in the sand, when Jack the dog was not there. Jack! No! Jack! No!

We went camping with the Americans in some cabins in the forest in the Krasny state. We all had fun there.

There were so many flowers there, that I was in heaven.

Drawing Smiles

This is the chalkboard that Mommy and Daddy got me for my birthday. Its fun cause you can draw lots of pictures and then just start again. But I found out that crayons aren't allowed on the chalkboard.

Mommy is very proud of my pictures, so she said I should put one here for you to see. I drew this one this morning in my notebook. Recently I have been getting very good at drawing smiley faces. My whole book is full of them, (the last book was full of flowers). This picture is extra good, you can see that he has 2 eyes, a nose, 2 ears (one worked out a little better than the other) and lots of hair! Do you like my picture? I did it all by myself!

Out and About

The weather is nice and warm now, and I'm getting really grown-up so its easier for us to get out and about. Like when we go grocery shopping or go for a walk in the park I can walk there all by myself. But sometimes when I get tired I rest on daddy's sholders. "I like it!" - thats my new favourite phrase, I use it all the time to tell Mommy and Daddy what I like. Smart eh?
