Now I'm 2!

Today I turned 2! I am a big girl now. Mommy wrote me a book all about turning 2 and all the things I can do. I had a birthday party. It was going to be outside in the park, but it was rainy today, so it was at the church instead. Lots of my friends came- David, Anna and Misha; Emily and Jonathan; Kira; Zlata. Daddy and Jeremy blew lots of bubbles and also blew up balloons to play with.

Mummy made a yummy cake and people sang Happy Birthday to me. Then I learned about blowing out a candle.

My friends also gave me lots of nice presents.

Feeding the birdies

Birdies have always been one of my favourites. Birdy was one of the first words I learnt. Now I like to feed the birdies. Mommy bought some bird seeds from the shop for 1 and a half roubles. I gave them to the birdies and then lots of them came. Mommy said it was well worth the one and half roubles.

Let me show you the animals

This morning when I woke up Mommy and Daddy told me that we were going to see some animals. Right away I thought of cows, but we didn't see any cows today. But it was an exciting day and we saw lots of animals. Let me show you.

In the lake there were lots of duckies and swans and even Canadian geese.

Lying on the ground is a wallaby and standing behind is an emu. They are both from Australia, where I was born.

Wow, this is a polar bear. Good thing he is behind the glass.

My favourite animal that I saw today is the jraff. Eat, eat, jraff.

Sandbox in Moscow

Know what? They have sandboxes in Moscow too! There is a sandbox right outside our door downstairs. I play there almost every day, and we bought a new shovel and bucket because my other one is in Novosibirsk. Today we played at another park in the Botanical gardens, there were lots of flowers there too.
Can you see how fast I'm running? I can go really FAST! Mommy barely had time to take the picture!

Come on a tour with me

Last week my Daddy had to go to Moscow to see the doctor. Mummy and I stayed home in Novosibirsk. I missed him very much. I kept looking for him everywhere. Then on Tuesday we went on the plane to Moscow to be with Daddy.

While Daddy waits to go to the doctor again, we went to see a very important place in Russia. It's called the Kremmy. Welcome to the Kremmy. The buildings are old.

This place has caused a lot of Russian people to kneel. I learned all about this important historical lesson today.

After we looked at all the old buildings and churches, we went and sat in the Kremmy gardens, where we had a drink and ate apricot peroshkies. The gardens were very pretty. Mummy and Daddy enjoyed sitting and lying on the grass and I enjoyed all of the flowers.

Look at the flowers, there are so many and they are so pretty.

This tree had baby apples.

Toothbrush

I learned something new. I can brush my teeth! Mommy helps me with the toothpaste, so that I don't get too much, and then I use it to clean my teeth. I have lots of teeth and its fun to clean them, especially the ones in the front. My new toothbrush is yellow and has a picture of a princess on it. Mommy says I can brush my teeth every day.
