Mommy got me a colouring book for Christmas. It is a special colouring book, where they show you a coloured picture and then you can colour one just like it.
Here I coloured Goofy. The one on the left was already done, and I made my one look just like it! All by myself!

Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning we opened presents. Mommy and Daddy bought me a bouncy pony. Its fun to bounce on.

And more Legos!

And someone sent me more Veggietales!

And grandma sent a dishes set, so I can feed my pony, and give me drinks.

Thank-you everyone for the Christmas presents!

Merry Christmas to my friends

My friends got to open presents too. Elias got a number puzzle. I think he likes it. He's still little so I'll have to show him where the numbers go. Elias had to take a bath in the middle of the party because he ate a marker. Boys are kinda strange.

I got Jonathan a toy car. Here you can see him opening it.

Christmas Dress

Grandpa bought me a pretty dress for Christmas. At first I wasn't sure that it was really clothes, it doesn't look much like the clothes I usually wear. But Mom and Dad convinced me to wear it to our Christmas party. Tetya Lena (that means aunty Lena in Russian) said it was красивое! (that means pretty!) So I'm glad I decided to wear it after all. I said "С Новым Годом!" to Tetya Lena. She was very proud of me. I'm getting good at speaking Russian. That one means Happy New Year!

In one picture I'm sitting with Abi. She's one of my new babysitters. In the other picture I'm holding hands with Tetya Lena and another friend called Gulya. Sorry you can't see their faces.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from Mommy, Daddy and me. Did you know that Christmas is Jesus' birthday. We give gifts at Christmas time because the wise men gave gifts to baby Jesus.

Lego building - How to pose for a picture

I got Lego for Christmas last year, and I've gotten pretty good at making big buildings. This one has a balcony that the people can sit on. I'm also good at posing for pictures aren't I?
PS. Do you think that any of those big presents under the tree have more legos in them?

It's Christmas time!

Yesterday we went shopping. I had Choco pie! Mommy and Daddy showed me a Christmas tree. I think they are really pretty. I like Christmas it's lots of fun.

Here I am putting Christmas balls on the tree.

Look, there's a star at the top. The star is there because of the wise men. I learnt about that in my Christmas story book.

Isn't it great!

Dressing for outside

I love going outside. I love putting on my boots. Can you see that my boots are new? Yesterday I put on my boots, hat and scarf all by myself. After playing for a while Daddy took off my boots on put them both on the other foot. I don't know why he did that, I wasn't very happy but then I got over it.

Guess Who?

Look who I drew! I like watching their show and sometimes I ask Mommy to draw them for me, but today I drew them myself! Do you know who these 2 are?

Going for a walk

I went for a walk with Mommy yesterday to the shops. To get there we have to walk through the forest. I decided that I wanted to pull my sled for a while instead of sitting in it. On the way home Mommy put the shopping on the sled. I fell over a few times walking by myself, but this is all just a part of finding my snow feet.
Daddy asked me to tell you that he doesn't say Jello, but Jelly instead. I am learning to speak both Canadian and Australian.

Jello!

Someone sent us a package of blue Jello! I like Jello! Its very wiggly and yummy! It doesn't look much like food so at first I wasn't quite sure we should eat it, but I'm glad I tried it. Do you like jello?

Smile!

What do you think of my artwork? This is a smiley face I drew this morning, all by myself.
Mom and I went shopping and I got some new clothes. When we got home I tried them on to show Daddy. I was doing this all by myself but then I needed a bit of Dad's help to get my arms in the armholes.

Then I put on my new pink pants. I kinda got both my feet in the same leg hole.

But Daddy helped me fix this up too.

I'm growing really big.

My way of putting on my sweater didn't quite work out either.

My new game

This is my toy box. Mommy and Daddy use it to tidy up when I drag my toys all over the living room. Today I just discovered that if I tip all the toys out of the box I can climb inside it. It is my new game and I made it up all by myself.

I'm talking on the 'puter

I can talk to Grandma and Grandpa on the computer and send them teddy bears and hearts.

I'm getting bigger now

Look! I can put on my own puddle boots now. I can even put them on the right feet, or maybe I was just lucky.

The wet rag in my hands is for cleaning my black board, can you see my black board?

Daddy did my hair

The other day when Daddy was looking after me I kept asking him to put clips in my hair. Eventually he said yes. I like wearing clips in my hair even if they do look like this.

Dutch Blitz

Look at me! I'm playing cards. This is Rebecca, she stayed at our house for a few days. I like playing cards because they all have different numbers and colours. In this game everyone gets their own cards, and thats the best part. I put mine in nice stacks like everyone else was doing.

Winter is back

Its winter again, and there is lots of snow. We don't know yet if it will stay cause it's melting. I rode my sled. I was scared at first because I forgot all about riding on the sled, but Mommy said it was like the swing, and then it was fun again. But today, my sled wouldn't go. There was not enough snow. But my stroller wouldn't go either, because of the melted snow, so I had to walk.

Swing!

Remember how a long time ago I used to like the swing? Well, then I changed my mind, and I haven't wanted to try it again until the other day when Anya came to visit us with her Mommy and Daddy. Anya likes the swing so I thought I'd try it. Guess what? It is really fun! It goes back and forth but hold you still, so you don't have to worry about falling. So now I go swinging almost everyday! Do you like swinging?

Happy Birthday Jonathan!

I went to Jonathan's birthday. He's 3 now. We got him a set of dominos that make a road when you lay them on the floor. I had cake!

Mommy and I are making Pizza! We did the whole thing together and it was fun. Here I am kneeding the dough, then we put on the sauce, then the meat and the olives and mushrooms and the cheese. Mom had to hurry with the cheese, before I ate all the olives and mushrooms off the pizza.

Love that Vegemite

Mmmm, V, v, v, Vegemite! I love Vegemite. Mommy commented that I was sucking on this tube like a baby's bottle. I guess that's how we Aussies get the taste.....

Kitty

Yesterday I got to play with a Kitty. He was all soft and fluffy. I loved patting him and grabbing his fur, although he didn't really want to play with me. Sometimes he would just run away, how rude. I really loved to grab his tail 'cos it was all squishy. Daddy told me a couple times that I shouldn't do that because the Kitty wouldn't like it, but I just couldn't resist. Then the Kitty scratched me on the hand. I gave him a big stare and said "Why would you do that to me?" Daddy says that puppies are probably more my type.

Guess the song

I am learning a new song. Mommy and Daddy don't know where I heard it first, but sometimes they sing it for me now so I can learn the words properly. I know the first line, but get stuck on the second line. Can you guess the song?

My very own car

We went shopping for food which is usually not very interesting, but today I got to drive the shopping cart! It was great! It had keys and even a horn, just like the car Daddy has been driving us around in. I think we both have had fun doing some driving today. In my mouth I have a lollipop that a man gave me at lunch. I am having a wonderful day!

Holiday

We have been traveling everywhere. At first this was not fun. I cried when we arrived in the hotel room in Irkutsk. But then Mommy and Daddy explained to me that it was a "holiday house." So every time I walk in the door, I say "it's a holiday!"

We are now in Finland, and I am learning many Finnish words. I am soperlinnen (this means cute).

Here I am in the forest. Today we are going to a cottage for another holiday. Soon we will go home to our new house in Russia.

It's the water

Look, there's lots of stones and lots of water.

Look at me

This week we met lots of people. One of the ladies had some pretty beads and let me wear them, aren't they pretty?

Where is home Mommy and Daddy?

We stayed in our new house for only five days and then we went on the train again. First I thought it was Uncle Monty's house, then I called it Daddy's house and then I told Mommy that the door is Mommy's door.
Yesterday we went on a train again. I told Mommy that I want to go home because I want to know where home is. Mommy and Daddy said we wil not go home for a while. I cried.
(Note from Mom and Dad- This is a difficult time for Abigail. We have a conference this week, which has been planned for many months. We need to go to Finland to get new visas after the conference. We are all tired of traveling, but it is hardest on Abigail as she doesn't quite know what is going on. We ask that you please pray for Abigail especially at this time._

I have learnt a new word "eckarine", they are yummy. Also do you like mo dolly? My grandma in Australia gave it to me for my birthday.

Our new home

Mommy and Daddy have been trying to tell me lots of times that we are moving to a new home. I sort of understood and would remember that we were taking all of my books and all of my toys. But when Mommy and I got here, Uncle Monty was here too, so I thought it was his home. But he is gone now, so I think I understand better.

Do you like my new room?
